Former Chelsea midfielder Oscar has revealed the reason he left the Stamford Bridge under Antonio Conte for move to China to join Shanghai SIPG in January for £52m.
He told PL Brasil: "The proposal I had and the situation that was happening to me at the club, both played a part,' he said.
"The first eight games I played very well, then I had a League Cup game (against West Ham) where I started on the left and the team lost and changed.
"Then he (Antonio Conte) changed the team's way of playing in a 3-4-3 and I did not play anymore, I did not have a position to play, because I'm a more offensive midfielder and then changed a lot.
"So I decided to leave too, but I left the door open."
Oscar won the Premier League title with Chelsea in 2015 and received a second winner's medal after playing nine times last season, he also revealed that he will fancy a return to Chelsea in the future.
