See What Cristiano Ronaldo Did During The Champions League Anthem that got everyone talking

If you haven't placed your hands behind your back and belted out the Champions League song as your family looks on with a hint of embarrassment and regret, then something is seriously wrong.

Head back, eyes closed and a smile on your face - it's the only way, just ask Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who gave us a wonderful rendition of the famous anthem before Los Blancos' game against Spurs.

You often see footballers hold back as the anthem rings out, hiding a smile with a stereotypical 'don't let anybody see you're actually enjoying this moment' face.

Cristiano, on the other hand, had different ideas.

As you can see in the footage below, the former Manchester United winger belts out the song with great affection, something that everybody who loves Champions League football can relate with.

It was a difficult night for Los Blancos, as Ronaldo and co. struggled to break down a very organised Spurs team, and one of the biggest moments of the match involved Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Following the restart, Real Madrid had the perfect chance to put their noses in front. Casemiro provided a superb ball into the path of Benzema who headed downwards at point blank range.

Everyone watching on was expecting to see the net bulge but Lloris had other plans. The Frenchman incredibly stopped his international compatriot from scoring by plucking out his leg to prevent a goal.
