This £600,000-a-week forward is set to be swapped for Eden Hazard by Real Madrid as Madrid are keen on signing Hazard

Eden Hazard could be swapped for Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale in January, who is longing for a move to Santiago Bernabeu after admitting it is his “dream club”.

With Belgium international’s contract expiring in 2020, Chelsea could be forced into letting him go this summer or risk losing him for free the next year.



The west London club must at least make their way back into the Champions League to stand any chance of keeping the 27-year-old winger.

Maurizio Sarri has been doing all he can to keep Eden Hazard happy after letting him off the chain compared to predecessors Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho.



But the former Lille man has teased fans of both clubs by revealing that he does not know what to do. If Spanish giants were to go all out for the Belgian skipper, they would need to fork out a nine-figure sum at least.

However, the Bernabeu club are keen to decrease costs – and could find a way to both lower the bid as well as reduce the wage bill.

Spanish media suggest have emerged revealing that Wales international Bale could be used in part of the deal to move Hazard to Madrid.

OK Diario reports that Real president Florentino Perez will offer Bale as part of the negotiations between them and Chelsea for Hazard.

The former Tottenham star has been linked with a move away in the past but has taken the mantle after Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit to Juventus.

The 29-year-old Wales international makes £600,000-a-week in his current deal which expires in 2022.
