Michy Batshuayi hasn’t necessarily been a flop in the performances that he’s shown, but Conte’s choice to bring him to the club and as a stepping stone in the youngsters career, it’s definitely been a flop for both parties.
Having scored a considerable amount of goals in a limited amounts of minutes for the club, he’ll believe he’s made a pretty good account of himself during his time at the Bridge. However, Conte has struggled to find a way to incorporate him into his side as he believes that Alvaro Morata is a superior option.
Therefore, with a possible future star stagnating in the Chelsea ranks, a move away from London is looking like becoming a reality with Newcastle United linked with the striker.
