The last ten Ballon d’Or awards have been grabbed up by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The pair have held the football world to ransom for the past decade despite the rising of so many talented younger players.
Eden Hazard who himself has been tipped to win the award, has revealed who will break the dominance of Messi and Ronaldo
He told Sky Sports: “I think the guy we are talking about every day is Kylian Mbappe he is very direct, he has skills and scores goals.
“He made a big impact in the Champions League with Monaco last year so I think he will win the Ballon d’Or soon because he is special.”
Hazard also believes his teammate Andreas Christensen has the potential to establish himself as one of the best centre-backs in the world.
“He’s only 21 but to play in the centre of defence at that age for such a young club it is not easy and I have watched him a lot,” said Hazard
“He was playing with Thorgen [Hazard] last year at Borussia Monchengladbach so I know him well and I think in the future he will be one of the best in the world.”
